Development & prep for Knotted began at the final third of 2024. For our thesis film , it was a no-brainer to tell a story that is unequivocally relatable, especially for fellow artists. The push and pull between chasing your dreams no matter the hardship and going down the path of least resistance is hard to navigate, and we wanted to showcase that. Finishing principal photography in April of 2025 in a multi-million dollar estate in Atlanta was the accomplishment of a lifetime for me, Aaron, and Ivy. It was truly a labor of love and collaboration, and we couldn’t be prouder.

A look at the evolution of scenes — from the first sketch to the final frame captured on set. Scheduling camera tests and rehearsals was a very important part of Knotted’s preproduction. We wanted to make sure our visual ideas were executed correctly. Thanks to the collaborative dynamic of our crew, everyone's hard work helped transform our ideas into reality.
