Wake Up

Second Assistant Director

In the Spring of 2025, I had the opportunity to work as the Second Assistant Director on Wake Up, a music directed by Sebastian Peoples, written and from the mind of Pedro Gayo, shot entirely on Kodak film.

This project was such a blast to be a part of. We danced to a tune trying to carefully blend artistry and technical craft. As 2nd AD, I helped coordinate scheduling, maintained communication across departments, and supported the director’s team to keep production running smoothly on set.

Because shooting on film is such a dynamic material to capture video, we had to stay alert and proactive. Due to great communication and collaboration with our First AD, Zack Ekasala, the production ran smoothly.
